Roommates, with just weeks left leading up to the 2020 presidential election, Kanye West has finally dropped his very first campaign video that highlights his “2020 Vision.” While most political candidates release multiple campaign videos months ahead of an election, Kanye is doing things his way and waiting until almost the very last minute before a presidential winner is declared next month.
Kanye West is continuing his presidential bid despite critics telling him he should drop out of the 2020 presidential race immediately. He just gave his fans and political supporters the very first look at his campaign video that was honestly pretty well executed considering how scattered his campaign has been.
In the video, Kanye says:
“We, as a people, will revive our nation’s commitment to faith. To what our constitution calls, ‘free exercise of religion’ including, of course, prayer. Through prayer, faith can be restored. We, as a people, are called to a greater purpose than ourselves. We are not only a beacon to the world but we should be servants to each other. We will build a stronger country by building stronger families. Families are the building blocks of society. By turning to faith, we will be the kind of nation, the kind of people, God intends us to be.”
At the end of the video, he asks people to “write in Kanye West” on their ballots with “2020 Vision” also scrolling across the screen. Just last week, social media was up in arms after Ye posted a photo of someone who had written his name on their ballot. He tweeted that people should continue to write his name in during their voting process.
