Fans thought the were in for a show when Kanye West hit the stage at the Meadows Festival in Queens tonight, but were quickly disappointed. Kanye apparently cut his set short due to a family emergency.
According to Billboard, Kanye hit the stage at 8:45, and was scheduled to perform until 10 p.m… but cut it short at 9:40.
Now @themeadowsnyc tweeted a statement saying:
“Due to an emergency, Kanye West had to end his performance early. Please get home safely.”
