While many people are entering the world of cryptocurrency, one person who has no current interest in doing so is none other than Kanye West.
On Monday, Ye took to Instagram to share a photo of a handwritten note where he asked folks to stop asking him about NFT’s. In the note, he wrote, “My focus is on building real products in the real world, real food, real clothes, real shelter. Do not ask me to do a f*****g NFT.”
However, he did leave room for a possibility in the near future. After signing the note “Ye,” he added, “Ask me later.”
In his post, he captioned the photo of his note and said, “Stop asking me to do NFT’s I’m not finna co-sign…For now, I’m not on that wave. I make music and products in the real world.”
While other artists have spoken about their involvement with NFT’s. Kanye West has placed his focus on fatherhood and his music.
In a recent video, he shared that he wouldn’t have a phone until February 22nd as focused on completing his latest album, which is “Donda 2.”
As previously reported, Kanye recently explained why he decided to purchase the home across the street from his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian. He said, “My solace comes from seeing my kids and getting a solid schedule. That’s why I even got the house.”
He continued to explain, “You see when my mom took me from Atlanta to Chicago, my dad didn’t come to the coldest and most dangerous city in the world to be next to me. He said, ‘I’m going to stay down in Atlanta cause of my career.”
