Kanye West has issued an apology to the Jewish community. As The Shade Room previously reported, West made various comments in relation to the community over the past few years.
In December of 2022, the rapper explained that he saw “good things” about Nazi Germany dictator Adolf Hitler. Additionally, Ye expressed that there were “a lot of things” he loved about the extremist.
On Tuesday, December 26, Kanye West took to his official Instagram account. The 46-year-old father of four posted a photo of a grey backdrop that featured words written in Hebrew.
Translated to English, the text explains West’s regret for the pain he has caused the Jewish community and details his sincere apology for his “unintended outburst.”
“I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions. It was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused. I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future,” the rapper’s message reads.

As The Shade Room previously reported, West made headlines in 2022 after he took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and shared an antisemitic tweet that has since been deleted.
“I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 (sp) On JEWISH PEOPLE,” West wrote. “The funny thing is I actually can’t be anti-Semitic because Black people are actually [Jews], also you guys have toyed with me and tried to blackball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.”
The rapper was subsequently banned from the platform, as well as Instagram, a few days later. At the time, reports also surfaced that West was experiencing a mental breakdown.
Later that month, the rapper’s behavior led to him reportedly losing his billionaire status with Adidas, Gap, and Balenciaga, terminating their fashion partnerships with West.
In December 2022, the rapper’s private Christian school, Donda Academy, was sued for unlawful education practices and racial discrimination. However, after reports of this suit surfaced, the rapper kicked off 2023 by mainly staying out of the media spotlight.
Earlier this month, the rapper resurfaced with multiple listening raves to promote his and Ty Dolla $ign’s joint album.
Around the same time, West went viral for name-dropping major celebrities and brands while speaking on his independent journey.
