Montel Williams Reacts To President Biden’s Withdrawal From The 2024 Election
According to The Daily Beast, Williams initially appeared to react to the news regarding his ex-girlfriend on Monday, July 22. The 68-year-old shared a now-deleted tweet that seemingly urged his “friends in the media” to “think twice about wasting time on a 20+ year old picture.”
At the time, Williams did not explicitly state which image he was referring to.
Shortly after, Williams reposted a tweet from a strategist named Jonathan Franks. The tweet contained a screenshot of an email Franks seemingly received, requesting Williams’ comment on President Biden’s endorsement of Harris. The outlet notes that Franks is Williams’ “media rep.”
“Ask stupid questions, win stupid prizes,” Franks wrote in his tweet. “I’m going to do this to every reporter who asks me this creepy, misogynistic question. I have no obligation to be cordial to reporters asking creepy and inappropriate questions.”
