Roommates, one of the biggest pieces of evidence in question in the #JussieSmollett case is a statement that he gave to the police describing his attackers as white men. That statement suddenly went out the window when the #OsundairoBrothers were named by authorities as his attackers.
Jussie’s attorney Tina Glandian is now giving a potential explanation about his fuzzy description that night–the Osundario brothers could have been in ‘white face.’
Glandian appeared on @todayshow to speak about the attack and expressed that Jussie did not lie when he told police he believed his alleged attackers were white.
“He did tell the police that from what he saw, he thought it was white or pale skin, that’s what he initially said,” Glandian said, “Obviously you can disguise that. You can put makeup on.”
Glandian proceeded to point out a 2016 YouTube video she had seen of Abel Osundairo wearing white makeup with red lips to dress up as the Joker.
She also added that Jussie has not yet made a decision about whether or not he will be pressing charges against the brothers.
“I think in light of what he’s been through the last two months, he really, just you know, he’s told me numerous times, ‘I don’t even care what happened, I want to move on.”
Glandian stands by the decision for Jussie’s charges being dropped and says they are not worried about the FBI reviewing the case because “nothing improper was done”.
