A judge has thrown out laptop evidence in the Courtney Clenney murder trial. The former OnlyFans model is accused of stabbing her ex-boyfriend, Christian ‘Toby’ Obumseli, to death in 2022.
According to TMZ, Judge Laura Cruz decided that a conversation between Courtney, her parents and attorneys where they discussed Obumseli’s laptop passcode could not be presented.

The Miami-Dade official shared her ruling on June 26, stating that the defense violated attorney-client privilege, per NBC Miami. Judge Cruz deemed those conversations inadmissible in court since they occurred between Deborah, Kim (Courtney’s dad), and their lawyers.
CBS News reports that Kim Dewayne and Deborah Clenney were arrested in January 2024 after they were accused of having Obumesli’s laptop. Prosecutors charged the parents with unauthorized access to a computer, computer system, or electronic device.
Courtney was handed the same charges in addition to second-degree murder. Her parents were later released. However, there was a warrant issued stating they must surrender by March 2024. They did so in February, posted bond, and were released again.
