JT turned warnings into action and ripped a fan’s phone from their hands for allegedly recording her private conversation. Early Monday (September 12), a video of the interaction went viral. Before the day was over, the City Girls rapper slammed critics. More than a few social media users suggested the fan should’ve reacted with physical violence. But JT made it clear she wasn’t rocking with that.
“Why would she punch ME? for recording MY conversation? & playing lost,” JT tweeted. “I thought she was just taking a pic her flash was on a lil too long & I noticed it was a VIDEO & reacted, she could’ve reacted how she wanted after that.”
The viral clip shows the rapper sitting in a club-like setting surrounded by an entourage, security, and fans. Yung Miami stood a few feet away. The video shows JT turning behind her and yelling, “girl, what f***…” before snatching the fan’s phone. She then began clicking and scrolling through the person’s phone as they stood off-camera.
“I’m sorry. What did I do? Are you mad,” someone, presumably the owner of the phone, responds.

JT Claims No One Was Listening To Her Words At The Event
It’s unclear who the phone’s owner is. However, that didn’t stop folks online from picturing themselves in her shoes.
One Twitter user (@_justmargo) wrote, “I love you to death, JT, my sag sister, but I was def slapping you right to the ground.” JT responded, “Girl, no, you wouldn’t…but k.”
Another Twitter user (@ay_ohkaay) told JT she could’ve “used [her] words and not [her] hands.”
“I was using my words all night babe,” JT responded. “Nobody was listening it was alottttt that night. BUT I lived to tweet another day.”
Another user (@thatsjustasia) encouraged violence on the phone owner’s part.
@thatsjustasia wrote, “she should’ve punched you. You don’t pay her bill, TF is wrong w you? Entitled as f**k snatching someone’s phone. Y’all faves are weird lmao every last one of them.” JT responded, “she should’ve.”
JT Demands People Show The Positive Highlights From The Event
After a few tweets about the incident, the artist seemed fed up with slamming the critics. Instead, she challenged folks to also show her positive interactions with fans.
“POST the videos of me taking ppl phone making videos telling them happy birthday!!! POST the selfies I took all night with ppl,” JT tweeted. Please go to hell, she didn’t react with nothing but SORRY because she didn’t expect me to catch her at least I gave her phone back.”
To conclude her responses, the artist retweeted a message that said, “But if a n***a ever try, it’s up.”
