JT Responds To Commenters Who Called Out Her Lack Of Grammar On Twitter

As we enter into the new year, JT, one half of rap duo, the City Girls, shared a message about what she’s leaving behind in 2020. Yesterday she tweeted, “I been through a lot of s**t I never can actually healed from. All I know is adjusting! I get in my modes when I just reflect…I wanna leave that in 2020 for sure it’s holding me back!”

While the message was positive, many roommates called her out for her poor grammar. One Roommate commented, “I just had a stroke reading dat, I’m not gone lie.” Another one commented, “Period, a comma, an uppercase letter… Anything would help decipher what was said.”

JT even stepped into The Shade Room and commented under her post. She wrote, ”Lmfaoooooo leave my tweets alone. They’re not for Instagram.” Well, it appears that the comments didn’t sit well with her because Today, she made a few remarks on Twitter again about the subject.

In now-deleted tweets, she wrote, “Yeah, ya’ll be in the comments saying y’all can’t understand or read what I’m saying… Good, b**ch mind your business. I tweet fast! I don’t re-read half the time! This is not a school. I repeat, this is not school.”

Again Roommates gave their opinion on the matter at hand. One commented, “It’s not school, but you sound dumb tryna make a point no one can understand or read.” Another one commented, “It’s not school… it’s real life? Real words? Real grammar and English? I just don’t understand?”

When it comes to grammar and spelling, especially on social media, it feels like people just don’t let up. JT isn’t the only one who caught heat this week. Jerrika Karlae, the ex-girlfriend of rapper Young Thug, had people coming for her when she tweeted “At Steak” instead of “Stake” Many Roommates left Steak emoji’s under the post.
