WATCH: JT Reflects On Her & Yung Miami’s Previous Heated Exchange

JT is keeping it 100 about her thoughts on her viral back-and-forth with Yung Miami in April.

As previously reported, the former duo exchanged heated words on X (formerly Twitter), hurling accusations of sneak dissing and jealousy. They made up the same day, but fans have continued to question the status of their friendship with the passing weeks.

JT discussed the situation in an interview with Keke Palmer on her podcast, ‘Baby This Is Keke Palmer.’ Jatavia said she wasn’t “gagged” by the fact that they were arguing online. Additionally, she said their tension at the time was “going to end up somewhere.”

“I was more so hurt than gagged like I did not want that to happen. But it’s just when you get to the point of ego, it gets there. You forget to express yourself in a private setting, you forget to talk like adults,” JT shared.

She added that the verbal disagreement was “stupid” and “now it’s done…funny” to both of them. “Now it’s hilarious to both of us,” JT said. However, she also admitted that they both were “dead a** wrong” and there wasn’t a “right person in that situation.”

Caresha Also Recently Spoke On The Online Tussle With JT

While Jatavia recently opened up about the state of their friendship, Caresha had already spoken about it in May. However, Complex didn’t publish their exclusive chat until early June.

“I think it’s sisterhood. That’s my friend, of course, but that’s more like family to me,” Caresha said. “I’ve been knowing JT my whole damn life, so that’s not our first argument. It probably won’t be our last argument. This time, it went to the Internet. It was a lot of emotions. We got people pulling us left and right, and it just was some s**t that we just talked about behind closed doors, like, ‘Girl, I love you, and let’s keep pushing.’ It ain’t never that deep where it’ll go farther than that.”

The Miami-bred rapper also explained why the City Girls are no more, saying their last joint project, ‘RAW,’ showed them in “two different spaces.” As a result, they decided to pursue solo careers.

Note that the duo has been hinting at independent paths for a hot minute. From solo tracks to solo appearances, interview comments, and rebranded content. Their joint Instagram account is now used to promote their solo work and reflect on how they once ATE as a duo.

Two weeks ago, though, City Girls’ fans got the ultimate reality check when Camilla Cabello listed them as independent featured artists on a new song.

On Wednesday (June 26), JT continued to push her solo lane by teasing a remix of her latest song ‘Okay.’ The new drop, coming later this week, will feature Jeezy.
