On the latest episode of ‘Stepping Into The Shade Room,’ reality television star and music artist Joseline Hernandez is opening up about her altercation with Big Lex, her thoughts on Amber Rose, the milestone of her first sober performance, and more with host Thembi.
Hernandez rose to reality television royalty as one of the first cast members of the 2012 reality show, ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.’ From there, she went on to solidify her mark on the industry by launching a reality series of her own, ‘Joseline’s Cabaret,’ and remaining a constant fixture in the social media spotlight.
Today, Hernandez is transparently reflecting on her growth over the past decade as a public figure, as well as the viral moments she admits she could have handled a little better.
During the recent sitdown, Hernandez reflected on her altercation with fellow reality television star Big Lex. As The Shade Room previously reported, the incident occurred in June while the two attended the Floyd Mayweather vs. John Gotti III exhibition match.
After the altercation, Hernandez was ultimately charged with domestic “battery, trespassing, resisting arrest/obstruction with violence, and regular battery.”
Speaking with Thembi, Hernandez explained that today she “doesn’t even know who that lady is,” referring to Lex.
“First of all, whoever that lady is, I don’t even know who she is — I could see that lady right now and right here, and I’ll be like, ‘Lady, I’m sorry. I don’t know who you are.’…I would be like, ‘I don’t know who that woman is.'”
Additionally, the reality star explained that there was “a lot of stuff that happened” that prompted the altercation. However, due to the ongoing legal case surrounding the incident, she cannot discuss all the details.
During the sitdown, Hernandez also reflected on her arrest following the altercation with Big Lex. As The Shade Room previously reported, the video of Hernandez’s detainment by authorities prompted significant concern from the public.
Footage showed the reality star shouting verbal threats at officers while using her body to resist arrest physically.
While discussing the incident, Hernandez admitted that she could have “went too far” during the detainment.
“I was definitely scared… At the moment, it’s like, ‘Okay, I might’ve went too far’… [and] there’s a possibility that you could really get hurt when you go under that type of situation.”
