#Roommates, former “American Idol” winner Jordin Sparks has been living the family life for the last few years, as a wife to her husband Dana and mom to their young son. The couple often posts photos of their life on social media, but one recent photo posted by Dana had people questioning Jordin’s marriage—and she quickly set them straight.
Jordin Sparks’ husband, Dana Isaiah, recently posted a photo of him smiling with an old female friend from his high school days, while the photo was totally harmless and innocent, there were many who commented that the photo was inappropriate…especially the caption.
Dana captioned the photo with this:
“Not very many people can …1). Get me out the house past 10:30
2). Get me to smile this big
3). Have me talking about high school
Shoutout to a real one”
Many felt that the combination of the photo and the caption were far too intimate for a man who is married—and were quick to call out Dana. That’s when Jordin posted a lengthy response in the comments.
Jordin posted:
“Y’all. ???? Here’s a message: if your significant other is making you cut off your really good, stand up, been there since forever friends, male or female…GET OUT. (Not talking about the friends that are toxic/frenemies, that’s a problem and should be addressed.) That’s controlling/toxic and people are NOT objects you own. Again, people are NOT OBJECTS YOU OWN. Friends are super important for your well-being especially those that knew you before certain huge life changes happen. It’s HEALTHY. I hope you all find someone that treats you like my husband and his friends do. They are truly the best. May the odds be ever in your favor.”
Jordin and Dana have been married since July 2017 and welcomed their son, Dana Jr. in May 2018.
Roommates, what are your thoughts on this?
