After the great falling away of the many democratic candidate hopefuls, the nation is left with one man standing–Joe Biden. Joe has been speaking on various issues, but many celebrities have been calling him out in regards to his plans for the black community.
Charlamagne is the most recent celeb to pop the question, as he sat down with Joe in a virtual interview for The Breakfast Club. Charla probes Joe about possibly making an appearance in New York to talk plans, and Joe says the choice between him and Trump should be obvious.
“If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black,” Joe Biden replied.
He continued, listing off all of the strides he has made in politics for minority communities, and specifically for black people.
“Take a look at my record man. I extended the voting rights 25 years,” he says. “My record is second to none. The NAACP has endorsed me every time I’ve run. Take a look at my record.”
While it is not immediately clear what Joe Biden meant by his “you ain’t black” comment, folks have been having mixed reactions to the statement.
I’ve been black all my life.
But I’ve never been anyone’s property, especially not @JoeBiden.
You’re not entitled to black support, Joe. You haven’t even earned it. pic.twitter.com/ZcqKC0dMak

#JoeBiden who has a long track record of anti-Blackness, was on the #BreakfastClub today. He had the nerve to say if Black people have a problem deciding between him or Trump, then #YouAintBlack
Now his plantation minions are trying to spin this
