Donald Trump shared the news of his younger brother’s passing over the weekend, Roomies, and Presidential hopefuls Joe Biden and his running mate, Kamala Harris, have decided to send their condolences to the trump family.
In a few tweets, Joe and Kamala express their concern for the Trump family during this difficult time, and even offer up some prayers after the family lost Robert Trump, after being sick for “several months”
“Mr. President, Jill and I are sad to learn of your younger brother Robert’s passing,” Biden says on Twitter. “I know the tremendous pain of losing a loved one — and I know how important family is in moments like these. I hope you know that our prayers are with you all.”
Kamala followed up on Joe’s post with well wishes of her own for the family.
“Doug and I join the Biden family in sending our deepest condolences and prayers to the entire Trump family during this difficult time. Losing a loved one is never easy but know that we are thinking of you.”
Donald Trump released a statement of his own in regard to his brother’s passing. As we previously reported, Robert has been admitted to New York-Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan, but the details of his condition were not made clear.
“It is with a heavy heart I share that my wonderful brother, Robert, peacefully passed away tonight. He was not just my brother, he was my best friend. He will be greatly missed but we all meet again. His memory will live on in my heart forever. Robert, I love you. Rest in peace.”
