That’s a real one! Young Thug’s former fiancée Jerrika Karlae has continued to ride for him and show him tons of support during his public court case. Jerrika recently opened up about the rapper’s mental health while he faces a RICO charge during an interview with ‘The Progress Report Podcast.
Karlae shared that he is doing well despite being incarcerated in the Fulton County jail and the passing of YSL labelmate Lil Keed. “He’s doing good, actually, and he’s in great spirits. I feel like this is just a moment for him to learn a lot of lessons,” she told the hosts. While opening up, she shared the advice he gave her saying, “Honestly, he was giving me advice on how to… He was like, ‘Keep your head in the game, wake up every day and put a smile on your face and be thankful, and we good.'”
She also added that the “Ski” rapper acknowledged how much he loves his fans. In addition, she detailed the growth she sees in her ex and his relationship with God. “I see the growth, and I really feel like I see his faith. I really, really do. That’s what a lot of people don’t know. Girl, that man really knows the Bible inside out,” she said.
Thugger has a lot of loyal people in his corner, and he needs all the support while he has an unsure future ahead of him. As we previously reported, Thugger was recently denied bond by a Superior Court judge on Thursday following his hearing. During the hearing, he pleaded not guilty, and the judge took sides with the prosecution, who argued that they were worried that witnesses would be intimidated if the rapper was released on bond.
Roomies, what do you think about Jerrika’s interview?
