Jeremy Robinson has revealed that he and Tamar Braxton have ended their relationship. As The Shade Room previously reported, Braxton and Robinson were initially spotted together in August last year. Then, the pair revealed in March that they became engaged while taping Peacock’s reality dating series, ‘Queens Court.’
During the early hours of Monday morning, Robinson took to his Instagram Story to share a detailed message with his followers. In the post, the lawyer shared that there have been “many assumptions” and “questions.” However, he and Tamar “are no longer together.”
“So many questions. So many assumptions. I want to answer all that I can with respect,” Robinson wrote. “Yes. Tamar and I are no longer together…”
Robinson added that he “ended” their relationship to focus on “getting back to positive energy.”
“I ended the relationship to focus on getting back to positive energy & being a better person…”
The lawyer explained that “what happened and why” is their “private place.”
“What happened and why — that’s our private place. No. I never cheated. No. I wasn’t there when her car was burglarized… No. I never cared about fame,” Robinson explained. “…I have always represented famous people and the truth is I was in an amazing place financially and mentally.”
Robinson shared that he “turned down” the ‘Queens Court’ reality show “several times” before he gave in. Then, the lawyer concluded his statement by explaining that he and Braxton will always remain “friends and family for life.”
“Ultimately, I fell in love and it did not end how I wanted it.. So. I want to heal,” the lawyer explained. “Tamar and I will always be friends and family for life. Thank you for respecting our privacy.”
At this time, Tamar Braxton has yet to respond or address Jeremy Robinson’s statement publicly.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Braxton and Robinson were initially spotted together at Robinson’s 46th birthday celebration last August.
Following the celebration, Robinson took to social media to share a now-deleted Instagram post about being “happily in love.” Then, in March, the couple revealed their engagement exclusively to Entertainment Tonight. At the time, the former couple shared that Robinson proposed to Braxton during the final episode of the reality dating series, ‘Queens Court.’
The outlet also shared Robinson’s words to Braxton.
“I don’t wanna be your friend. I wanna be your husband. I’m here forever because I don’t see my life without you. And I love you, Tamar. Tamar, will you marry me?”
Additionally, Braxton accepted the lawyer’s proposal, noting she finally “found what I was looking for.”
During the interview, Braxton also reflected on the reality dating experience with Robinson.
“I’ve never done anything like this before… [But] this TV show is so amazing, it’s one of my most proudest moments,” Braxton explained to the outlet. “…
The number one thing I learned is that I wasn’t as ready as I said that I was, in receiving love…”
Amid the couple revealing the news to the world, Braxton also celebrated her 46th birthday by sharing a loving message to Robinson.
It remains unclear how long Braxton and Robinson were engaged. However, the singer was previously married to Vince Herbert, with whom she shares one child. Before this, Braxton was briefly married to Darrell Allamby.
At this time, we should also note that Braxton’s ‘Queens Court’ castmate Evelyn Lozada also became engaged to entrepreneur Lavon Lewis during the show. Lozada’s current status and relationship with Lewis remains unclear.
