Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are finally married! The couple wed on Saturday, in a Las Vegas chapel alongside four other couples, the singer revealed the joyous news in a letter to fans Sunday. In a mass email sent to ‘On The JLo’ subscribers, The Afflecks announced they made it down the aisle twenty years after initially dating and shared exclusive photos from the occasion.
We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient.
JLo continued in the personalized note to fans, sharing her journey to the little chapel that almost didn’t happen.
“Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world. We barely made it to the little white wedding chapel by midnight. They graciously stayed open late a few minutes, let us take pictures in a pink Cadillac convertible, evidently once used by the king himself (but if we wanted Elvis himself to show, that cost extra and he was in bed).”
Lopez revealed she wore a dress from an old movie, and Affleck wore a jacket from his closet for the special day.
“We read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives…In the end, it was the best possible wedding we could have imagined.”

Jennifer ended her newsletter to fans with her new signature and legal name: Jennifer Lynn Affleck. Ben and Jen were engaged in 2002 but called off their romance in 2004. Both stars moved on to different relationships, including marriages and kids, but the exes reunited almost a year ago. Now the rest is history!
