Today continues the memorial services for the legendary songstress Aretha Franklin.
TMZ obtained a production sheet for the performances that will take place during both Thursday and Friday services. Songs during the service will include songs from Aretha, as well as religious hymns.
Everyone has been waiting to see Jennifer Hudson pay tribute to the Queen of Soul, and they can look forward to her singing her heart out during “Amazing Grace.”
Hudson’s performance has also been anticipated because she’s already been set to portray Franklin in an upcoming biopic. The film’s producer, Harvey Mason Jr., told the site that Aretha was “upbeat and excited,” about the project just a week before her death.
A tribute concert for the late songstress will be held in Detroit’s Chene Park on Thursday and will feature performances from artists such as Ron Isley, Johnny Gill, and the Four Tops.
Stevie Wonder is also listed on the production sheet to sing “The Lord’s Prayer,” and “As.” Fantasia Barrino will be singing “Precious Lord,” and Ariana Grande will sing “Natural Woman.”
Franklin’s funeral on Friday is set to stream live.
