Jay Z has something special coming our way soon #Roommates! Jay and Weinstein Company are in the process of developing a film and a documentary based on the story of Trayvon Martin.
According to XXLMag, the duo won a bidding war over the rights to two books, “Suspicion Nation: The Inside Story of the Trayvon Martin Injustice and Why We Continue to Repeat It” and “Rest in Power: The Enduring Life of Trayvon Martin. The first book was written by Lisa Bloom, and it’s about her time covering the Zimmerman trial when she worked for NBC. The second book was written by Trayvon’s parents, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin.
It’s been five years since Trayvon Martin tragically lost his life and its good to see Jay trying to shed some light on racial profiling and the criminal justice system.
