Jay-Z’s mother, Gloria Carter, has tied the knot with her longtime partner, Roxanne Wiltshire. According to TMZ, the wedding ceremony occurred on Sunday in the Tribeca neighborhood of New York City.

According to PEOPLE, the wedding ceremony was attended by Carter’s son, his wife Beyoncé, her mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson, Kelly Rowland, Tyler Perry, and more.
TMZ reports that Jay-Z and Beyonce were “front and center” as Carter said her vows to Wiltshire.
Furthermore, Beyoncé also reportedly took to Instagram to show off her wedding attire. The singer posted a photo of herself rocking a peach-colored mesh corset and matching skirt. According to PEOPLE, the ensemble was created by Dolce & Gabbana.
The singer wore her hair in a half-up, half-down hairdo. And she rocked the outfit with a black pair of shades and a matching handbag.
The outlet reports that Jay-Z and Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy was also in attendance at the wedding ceremony and rocked a “floor-length sage green” gown with a “chain necklace” and “scrappy” heels.

Jay-Z’s mother has an honorary doctorate and is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Shawn Carter Foundation. According to the organization’s website, the foundation was “formed in response to Ms. Carter’s desire to create ‘something that would enhance the future of our young people.'”
Furthermore, Carter’s longtime partner and now wife, Roxanne Wiltshire, also works in philanthropy. According to her biography on The Wiltshire Foundation’s official website, she was born in Trinidad and is the youngest of four sisters.
She is an active board member of the foundation, which cites the devastating loss of one of her sisters as the source of her mission to bring about “lasting Change.” The foundation strives to address social and systemic “inequities” through “literacy.”
