My body, my choice! When it comes to an influencer or celebrity having surgery, folks will share their opinions. Specific public figures chose to either respond or keep quiet when critics say things that may affect them. When it comes to clapping back and addressing the hate, Jania Meshell is one of them. Earlier today, the influencer and mother of rapper NBA Youngboy’s son decided to address negative comments on social media after showing off her body post-surgery.
Some people online called Jania out for having liposuction and accused her of having a BBL. Jania first addressed the comments on Twitter. “Y’all Shame skinny girls, thick girls, fat girls, surgery bodies and natural bodies like STFU. Worry about your own body,” she tweeted. She continued, “I never got a bbl that’s tea.” Jania wasn’t done yet. She went live on Instagram, getting more off her chest.
The influencer said people wish that they could get surgery but didn’t have the money. “I look good as f**k, and when I step in the room, I feel comfortable in my skin. Not that I didn’t feel comfortable before, but I was kind of insecure about my stomach,” Jania explained. While showing off her new body, she explained that she was three weeks post-op, her sides hurt bad and swollen.
As the conversation progressed, she responded to comments from viewers about her belly button. In addition, one viewer advised her to watch K.Michelle’s new show, ‘My Killer Body,’ which shines a light on women dealing with botched surgeries. Jania said, “The thing is people go OD when they get certain stuff, I don’t. I don’t go OD. I do it to where it matches me.” Roommates, what do you think of Jania’s response?
