Janet Jackson To Be Inducted Into The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame

On Thursday, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced the class of 2019 inductees. Among the seven names of inductees was none other than Janet Jackson.

This was Janet’s third nomination for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and she became eligible for a nomination back in 2007.

Janet took to social media to thank her fans and said, “We did it guys ???? Thank U for all your love and support. #RockHall 2019.”

The other inductees for the 2019 class include The Cure, Def Leppard, Stevie Nicks, Radiohead, Roxy Music, and The Zombies. Each of the inductees is recognized for having contributed “over 25 years of musical excellence.”

Janet released her self-titled debut album back in 1982. She released her 11th studio album “Unbreakable” in 2015 and has been touring all over the world since. She completed her “State of the World Tour” back in October.

As we previously reported, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY on March 29th, 2019.

Congrats to all of the 2019 inductees.
