Alexa, play ‘Lets Get It On’ by Marvin Gaye real quick! Jane Fonda recently shared a major revelation as she expressed that she regrets not sleeping with the legendary, late Marvin Gaye.
“Your greatest regret is that you never had sex with Che Guevara,” New York Times reporter Maureen Dowd asked Jane to confirm. Miss Fonda shut that down with the quickness however, and let us know who her greatest regret really is.
“No, I don’t think about him,” Jane said. “Who I do think about, and what is a great regret is Marvin Gaye.”
Jane goes on to explain why she and Marvin never ‘got it on’, saying she was a married woman at the time. “He wanted to and I didn’t,” she said. “I was married to Tom [Hayden]. I was meeting a lot of performers to try to do concerts for Tom and the woman who was helping me do that introduced me to Marvin Gaye.”
The reporter went on to ask if Marvin’s pickup line included the words ‘sexual healing’, and Jane responded saying, “I needed some but he didn’t say that, no.” Jane continued on to say, “But then I read, apparently he had my picture on his refrigerator. I didn’t find that out until later, after he was dead.”
