Jaidyn Alexis has addressed a fan who said she’s “happy” about Blueface being sentenced to four years in prison.
On Friday, August 9, Alexis took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to let fans know she was locked in at the studio.
“dnd in the studio,” she wrote.
According to XXL, a clip surfaced on social media following Alexis’ time in the studio. In the clip, Alexis appears to be vibing out to YEEZY tAUGHT mE’s single, “BNCE dat a**” while streaming on Instagram Live.
At some point, Alexis pauses the music and says, “Y’all piss me off.”
“‘How you so happy?” Alexis reads from the stream’s list of live comments. “B***h, I’m working. This is work — talking about I’m happy. You disgust me.”
Alexis then goes on to explain that “Someone’s gotta do it.”
“Y’all don’t realize that real life happens in real time and sometimes… y’all just are dumb as f**k,” she adds. “Like, no shade at all but like, what do ya’ll think is going on? Someone’s gotta do it. Someone’s got to go to work? Do you know how that works? I’m confused.”
At that point, the mom tells the social media user to get themselves “together” and reiterates that “someone’s got to keep going.”
“And don’t ever disrespect that, thinking that I’m f*****g happy about it,” she says. “No, why would I ever be happy that my baby daddy’s locked up? Why would I ever be happy that my kids are not going to have their dad for another year or this or that? Like, why do you think I would be happy about that?”

As The Shade Room previously reported, a Los Angeles judge handed Blueface a four-year prison sentence on Friday, August 9.
The judge’s decision sparked reactions from the rapper’s father, Johnathan Porter Sr.
Additionally, it also sparked a public reaction from the rapper’s mother, Karlissa Saffold Harvey.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Blueface’s incarceration was sparked by the rapper violating his probation terms of from a September 2021 assault case. Since January, when the rapper turned himself in, it remained unclear what exactly he had done to cause his probation violation. However, TMZ has since reported that Blue was found with drug paraphernalia.
Per the outlet, this cause the Los Angeles judge to “give him the max sentence.” Meanwhile, the rapper’s manager, Wack 100, has reacted to the update as well. On Friday, Wack shared his optimism that Blue will stil be home sooner than later.
