Judge Grants Modification To Jackson Mahomes’ Bond Agreement On Tuesday
On Tuesday, the younger brother of Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes attended a bond agreement hearing, according to KMBC. There, a judge agreed to modify Mahomes’ bond, allowing him to have contact with four friends who also happen to be witnesses in the 22-year-old’s sexual battery case.
However, there was one exception to the bond agreement modification. The presiding judge denied Mahomes’s request to contact just one of the four witnesses.
The witness in question, who’s believed to be the former stepdaughter of one of the reported victims, claims to be the social media influencer’s best friend.
The unnamed witness said it had been “difficult” not talking to Mahomes since the alleged abuse took place, but the judge still denied the request and imposed a no-contact order.
In August, that restraining order will be reevaluated following the case’s initial hearing.
New Details Emerge In Jackson Mahomes’ Assault Case, Reportedly Attempted To Bribe Alleged Victim
Meanwhile, on Monday, Johnson County District Judge Thomas Sunderland ordered the release of a redacted copy of the affidavit.
A Kansas City Star report states Jackson “grabbed (alleged victim Aspen Vaughn) by the throat, forcing her head back and kissed her and put his tongue in her mouth” three times without her consent.
Jackson proceeded to ask Vaughn, 40, not to tell anyone about the alleged attack. At one point, he attempted to explain to Vaughn “what he could do for her business,” according to the affidavit.
Additionally, Jackson reportedly tried to convince Vaughn to comply by telling her of his large social media following.

Earlier this month, Jackson was arrested on three counts of aggravated sexual battery and an additional count of misdemeanor battery. The charges are in connection to the incident at Vaughn’s Overland Park restaurant back on Feb. 25.
He was booked into the Johnson County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond before being released after making bail, per KCTV 5.
In March, The Star reported Vaughn had initially accused Jackson of “forcibly kissing me out of nowhere.” She also provided damning CCTV video of the alleged assault to authorities, which the outlet eventually released.

However, Mahomes’ lawyer released a statement in March claiming “a short clip of any video does not provide proper context.”
“We have provided law enforcement with the tools and evidence they need to evaluate the claims against Jackson,” it read. “Every interaction between people needs to be placed in the proper context. Releasing a short clip of any video does not provide proper context.”
His attorney added: “We have faith in the process and look forward to a swift resolution of the matter.”
Owner Says She Did Not Welcome Jackson’s Advances, Male Waiter Also Reportedly Shoved
Vaughn said she believes Jackson was intoxicated but added she warned Mahomes about his unwanted advances, according to USA Today.
Hours before the alleged forced kisses, Jackson is also said to have shoved a 19-year-old male waiter several times. The employee alleges it happened after smelling marijuana smoke.
Jackson reportedly was a regular at the establishment, and even knows the owner’s step-daughter, according to Vaughn.
