If you recall back in April, Caitlyn Jenner, 65, sat down with creditable journalist Diane Sawyer, for the a very special presentation of 20/20.
That was where Jenner announced to the world her new name and also her new look with magazine Vanity Fair. Earlier this month, Jenner filed for the request to change her name and gender.
On Friday, California judge Gerald Rosenberg, has officially announced that Caitlyn Jenner is now legally a woman! She is now able to go and get government documents in her new name. Documents like, a social security card and also a driver’s license in her new individuality.
Caitlyn Marie Jenner, who was originally born, William Bruce Jenner, was not present in court on Friday. Instead, her attorneys were there to represent her in an orderly fashion and the judge quickly approved the transition. TMZ reports, judges don’t usually report gender changes to keep the applicant’s confidential.
