Wayment! Coronavirus precautions are hitting real different in Italy. As we reported yesterday, the entire country was put on lockdown due to the coronavirus, and now residents will reportedly not have to pay their mortgages.
When asked if there was a chance of mortgage payments temporarily being frozen, Laura Castelli, Italy’s deputy finance minister said, “”Yes, that will be the case, for individuals and households.”
Italy’s Coronavirus death toll apparently went from 366 to 463 on Monday, making it the most affected country after China.
According to The Guardian, all public events, sporting matches, funerals, and weddings will be banned in Italy. Gyms, bars, theaters, and schools have reportedly been closed as well.
