In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter following the split, Long explained that the affair was “very disappointing” to her and her son. Additionally, she noted that a “very private situation” was “made public.”
At the time, the 52-year-old shared how her son was handling the news.
“He still has moments where it’s not easy for him… I think the most heartbreaking thing about all of this was seeing my son’s face when the Boston Celtics organization decided to make a very private situation public,” she told the outlet. “No one from the Celtics organization has even called to see if I’m OK, to see if my children are OK. It’s very disappointing.”
Since then, Long has reportedly stated that she will “continue to focus” on her children, Kez and her adult son Massai Zhivago Dorsey II, from a previous relationship, as per PEOPLE.
