Fans who were expecting to see Iggy Azalea on tour will have to watch her performances on YouTube because her “Bad Girls Tour” has been canceled. Live Nation is reporting that it’s “due to unforeseen circumstances.”
Iggy was set to do a 21-city, five-week tour starting Oct. 27 in Hollywood, Fla. Everything seemed good to go until news broke that all 21 dates, except four, had been cancelled. The dates that remained were Hollywood, Calif., St. Louis, Minneapolis and Salt Lake City.
After canceling basically the whole tour Iggy’s team just ended up canceling the entire tour. Iggy took to Twitter to express her sorrow to her fans for the bad news. “Believe me — I was really excited for this tour … and I’m genuinely disappointed it can’t happen this year – The choice was out of my hands and not my call to make. I hope I will get to see you all in person one day. I love you.”
According to Page Six, her opening act CupcakKe spilled some tea earlier this week that she was no longer going on tour with Iggy due to a “change of plans,” which means payment issues.
“I went from getting paid 330k on this tour to 30k, that’s what I mean by ‘change plans.’”
She continued, “THIS WAS NOT IGGY THAT CHANGED PLANS… It was the ones that put it together… Iggy knows I love her… I just need that bag IN FULL that’s all.”
On the bright side, fans can still get a refund!
