Ice Spice has seemingly reacted to being featured in a video snippet of an upcoming song by fellow rapper Latto.
On Friday, February 2, Ice Spice took to X, formerly known as Twitter. The 24-year-old shared a brief tweet.
“#AskIceSpice,” she wrote.
Then, she apparently took to X spaces for a live question-and-answer with fans, per HotNewHipHop. During the interaction, Ice addressed being in the back of a rapper’s “weak a** snippet.”
“I’m in the back of your weak a** snippet. Like, that’s why I was confused. So I was like, ‘Wait a second, that’s me?’ I’m like, ‘Okay since we’re talking about me’ — and I dropped that it was really just a snippet,” she explained, seemingly referring to the release of her recent single, ‘Think U The S**t (Fart).’
A fellow X user responded by calling the move from the opposing rapper “bold.”
“No, I was like, ‘This has to be fake. This is AI.’ But b*****s be bold, so I was like, ‘Oh, we’re being bold today,” she continued.
From there, another X user questioned Ice about reportedly surpassing Latto in monthly listeners on Spotify.
The rapper shared a brief response referring to lyrics from her recent release.
“Get off the floor,” she said.
The video snippet that Ice Spice seems to be referring to was shared by Latto via Instagram on January 7. Amid a carousel of posts of photos and videos, the rapper shared what appeared to be a video teasing an upcoming song.
In the clip, she rapped:
“I just want a one-on-one, don’t know why she so nervous.”
Behind her, viewers could see Rema’s music video for ‘Pretty Girl‘ playing. The song also features Ice Spice, and the clip captured Spice leaning over a car at the moment of Latto’s words.

At this time, it remains unclear when the song Latto previewed will be released.
According to UPROXX, fans have been speculating about a beef between Ice Spice and Latto since 2023. As The Shade Room previously reported, Nicki Minaj and Latto exchanged insults in October 2022 regarding their Grammy nominations.
Afterward, their relationship appeared to sour.
However, Minaj then appeared to champion fellow female rapper Ice Spice by jumping on the remix of her single ‘Princess Diana.’
Around the same time, Latto released ‘Put It On Da Floor,’ seemingly taking aim at Minaj and fellow female rap opps. A month later, Latto even enlisted another Minaj rival for the song’s remix.
Months later, fans speculated that Latto also took shots at Ice while being featured on Offset’s single, “FINE AS CAN BE.”
“That n**** a munch, your booking fee, ate it for lunch,” Latto rapped, per UPROXX, seemingly referring to Ice Spice’s breakout single ‘Munch.’
Given her latest comments, it appears that Ice Spice’s most recent single, ‘Think U The S**t (Fart),’ is another response to Latto.
“I got my foot on they necks, I can’t let up/ She all on the floor, told her get up,” she raps per HipHopDX.
UPROXX reports that fans also believe their beefing is due to Latto’s previous pretending not to know Ice’s songs despite showing her support.
As well as Latto allegedly assuming similar gestures and fashion choices as Ice.
