#Roommates, people are outraged after hearing about a Florida high school student who was denied school lunch after being short just 15 cents!
According to @CBSNews, a sophomore at #UniverityHighSchool in Orange City, FL. Was denied lunch on her first day back to school. Her mother spoke with the news station and said: “She puts her food on the tray, gets to the front, gives her number to the cashier, and she says, ‘Well, you owe 15 cents,'” She then adds: “My daughter said she didn’t have any money, so the cashier took her food.”
Can you believe that roommates?! Anyway, it seems the balance has since been paid for, but regardless for a parent, that’s not the way you’d hope your child is treated when they’re in school!
