Marie Calvert says her “sexcapades” with 3,000 different men started with a swingers magazine her husband, Barry Calvert, brought home 35 years ago. Good or bad, her husband had to share her with over 14 different men a night ever since!
“He sort of joked we should try it; I told him not to be daft, and he never mentioned it again,” the story says. “But I kept looking at the mag and imagining how fun it might be. Eventually I told him we should give it a go. He looked like a kid at Christmas.”
According to the NY Daily News, the couple opened up their own swingers club in 1997, called La Chambre, after visiting another partner swapping lair.
“The night I slept with 14 men was at a swingers’ party in Manchester,” she said. “I remember driving there feeling almost uncontrollably lustful. The next day I felt achy, in that lovely way, like when you’ve been to the gym.”
Her club was deemed one of the best in Great Britain at the time, with its hedonistic inspired atmosphere created for the sexually explorative mind. However, the club did take a bruise to its reputation when 45-year-old Jeremy Frazer Newsome Smith raped a 22-year-old at the club in August 2014.
She has since slowed down the amount of sexual partners she acquires to about three last year which is a big difference from the 100 men she claimed to have slept with annually.
When asked if she has any regrets, she did say she wished she would have found the swingers mag five or six years earlier ! Can we say energizer bunny!?
