Imagine being at a restaurant, minding your business, eating your food, and then a half naked man all of a sudden falls out of the ceiling.
That’s what happened at a Waffle House in Tuscumbia, Alabama Sunday morning. The burglar, Wesley Glenn Bost was attempting to rob the restaurant’s office until the ceiling he was in had other plans of crashing down.
“Apparently, he made a wrong step and he came down into the dining area,” Tuscumbia Police Chief Tony Logan tells the Times Daily.
Police believe that Wes was on drugs, from his behavior that was also captured on video by someone who was there when it all went down—no pun intended.
Peep the video of how it all happened:
Bost reportedly fled the scene in a car with another man, and the two were involved in a police chase with off-duty Det. Sgt. Wes Holland. They eventually drove the car into a park and ran off.
The second man has yet to be identified, but police were able to name Bost because he left his license in his pants at the Waffle House, having used them to tie the bathroom door closed.
Holland told the Times Daily warrants are expected for Bost on Tuesday for first-degree criminal mischief and burglary.
