Gypsy Rose’s Financial Requests
As previously reported by The Shade Room, Gypsy announced her separation from Ryan on March 28 via Facebook. Two weeks later, on Monday (April 8), she filed for divorce.
The 32-year-old listed the date of separation as March 25. The documents stated the pair have “lived separate and apart continuously since that time.”
Rose is asking for Anderson to pay her spousal support. Her request is for monthly payments. The documents state that “she has a need and the Defendant has an ability to pay.”
Additionally, she requested that interim payments begin immediately.
Gypsy Blames Ryan For The Divorce
Rose stated that Anderson is to blame for their marriage’s sudden end. The petition states she “is not at fault in the dissolution of marriage.”
She filed a temporary restraining order against Ryan on April 8, PEOPLE reports.
The divorce petition verifies they “did not enter into a covenant marriage.” This means the pair did not agree to counseling before divorcing.
Additionally, she wants her maiden name back. She took the surname Anderson when she tied the knot. She prefers to go by Gypsy-Rose Alcida Blanchard.
Furthermore, the docs stated they don’t have any children, and “nor is the Petitioner pregnant.” Rumors were floating that Rose was preggers at one point.
Following Rose’s Divorce Announcement
Just days after their separation was announced, Gypsy was hanging out with her ex-fiancé, Ken Urker. The two were photographed enjoying the sights of NOLA. Additionally, they were spotted getting inked up. Gypsy and Ken reportedly got matching tatts. A source told TMZ they were just friends, and Ken was supporting her through the split.
As previously reported, Anderson stated he was blindsided by their breakup. He said he was “not doing well,” and the divorce “came out of the blue.”
The divorce documents have not been sealed so more divorce deets may surface later.
Gypsy and Ryan were married in July 2022 while she was incarcerated. She spent eight years in prison for plotting her mother, Clauddine “Dee” Blanchard’s, death.
