Kansas is mourning the loss of three people who were killed at a manufacturing plant today.
According to the New York Times, a man drove through at least two towns opening fire at bystanders.
“The shooter was actively firing on any target that came across his sights,” according to T. Walton, the sheriff of Harvey County. “He appeared to pick his targets at “random.”
Apparently the shooting occurred at an Excel Industries Factory, in Kansas, a company that makes lawn care equipment and lawn mowers, in Hesston and on the roads between Hesston and Newton, Kan., where the gunman lived.
The gunman unfortunately took 3 lives, and injured 15, but was later killed by police near the factory’s paint department.
