A newly married Saudi Arabian couple may have recently set a world record for divorce as the groom filed just two hours after being married! The bride’s brother explains that the reason why the groom filed for divorce so soon is because she couldn’t hold up her end of their prenup! Apparently, she wasn’t supposed to share wedding pictures or videos via social media, but she did anyway.
“There was a prenuptial agreement between my sister and her fiancé that she would not use social-media applications such as Snapchat, Instagram or Twitter to post or send her pictures,” he said. “It was included in the marriage contract and became binding. Regretfully, my sister did not honour the pledge and used Snapchat to share pictures from the wedding ceremony with her female friends, resulting in the shocking decision by the groom to cancel their marriage and call for divorce.” Both families have utterly cut ties with each other im according to reports.
That is sooo petty! Roommates, if your partner demanded that you stop using your social media accounts in a prenup, would you do it?! ‘Tuh!
