GloRilla has reacted after NLE Choppa seemingly doubled down on shooting his shot at the rapper.
On June 30, NLE popped out for the 2024 BET Awards and sat down for an exclusive interview with the network. During the conversation, the rapper shared praise for fellow Memphis emcee GloRilla.
“…Glo on fire… like fire — she got three ones in a row, and she probably got some more in the tuck, so she doing her thing as well,” he said. “…She making the city look good.”
As the conversation continued, NLE added that Glo’s “been getting a little thicker,” and he’s noticed.
“Hey now, Imma let her know, man,” the rapper added, leaning forward into the camera. “She ’bout one more picture away before I’m just there with it.”
In response, the host shared a message for Glo, letting her know that NLE is in her likes “heavy.”
“She one post away,” NLE reiterated.

Then, on Monday, July 8, Glo took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share a few photos of herself in a black shirt and cropped shorts.
A few hours later, NLE retweeted GloRilla’s photos with a clip from his interview with BET, where he reiterated that Glo is “one post away” from him seemingly sliding in her DMs.
“this the post,” NLE added to the clip with a few laughing emojis.
An hour later, GloRilla reacted to NLE’s message with a brief response.
“Bra…” she wrote, adding multiple laughing emojis.
Meanwhile, users on X chimed in with their reaction to the thought of Glo and NLE possibly being a couple. Some appeared here for it.
While others didn’t appear to like the idea.
Ultimately, NLE reacted to Glo’s response with a few laughing emojis of his own.
This isn’t the first time NLE has seemingly sparked romance chatter with a female rapper. As The Shade Room previously reported, in February, the rapper went viral after popping out with what appeared to be a face tattoo of Chrisean Rock.
At the time, NLE didn’t reveal whether his apparent ink was real or fake, and it left some social media users conflicted on whether he was playing around or being serious about his affection toward Rock.
In March, NLE spoke exclusively with The Shade Room and revealed that the photo of him with the Chrisean ink was photoshopped. Additionally, the rapper revealed that he thought the antic would drive more eyes to his newly released single with Lil Mabu.
NLE also revealed whether he contacted Rock to let her know about his plan before it went down.
