For 29-year old Philadelphia barber Brennon Jones, giving a few dollars to a person on the street just wasn’t enough. He decided to connect his clippers to a car battery and use his talents to give free cuts to the homeless. In Jones’ eyes, sometimes it’s not all about the money.
“I just want to provide something different than some change or a couple dollars,” he explained. “I’m blessed with a talent, so why not share it and make someone’s day? I just wanted to give back”
His project “Haircut4Homeless” has given 200 free haircuts to the homeless in Philadelphia. In addition, he also gives away toiletries, bag lunches, prizes, and games. Jones aims to take his project beyond the streets of Philadelphia and is making it a priority to reach every state.
He’s giving back one cut at a time!
