Roommates, if you’ve been keeping up with Gervonta, then you know he’s really a ladies man. It feels like almost every other week he’s seen with a different woman and though we reported he was spending time with Floyd Mayweather’s ex Yaya, we ALSO reported he’s been kickin’ it with the mother of his child, Dretta. However, the last time we reported on them, things were looking up as they were seen shopping together.
It looks like things have taken a quick turn because a recent video showing him grabbing her aggressively has surfaced and now people want to know, what’s really going on here? During a Floyd Mayweather event in Miami (that is home to this year’s Super Bowl) you can see Gervonta walking up to Dretta, slapping a drink out of her hand and then grabbing her by the collar of her shirt and then pulling her away. Since the video has practically gone viral at this point, Gervonta is now doing damage control. But the Roommates are wondering if he made it worse or not? He took to his instagram to simply say:
“I never once hit her, yea I was aggressive and told her come on… that’s the mother of my child I would never hurt her other than that happy New Years.. January was trash.”

As far as Dretta goes, she has yet to comment on the situation but we hope this is an isolated incident, rather than a potential cry for help.
