Roommates, Gervonta Davis has reportedly entered a not guilty plea in his messy domestic battery case with his baby mama Dretta Starr.
According to The Blast, Gervonta is scheduled to appear in court on March 3, after he turned himself into Coral Gables Police Departments last week. He was arrested on a misdemeanor simple battery domestic violence charge, and was released hours later after posting bond.
As we previously reported, the charge stems from a video showing Gervonta grabbing Dretta at a charity basketball game where the two ran into each other. In the video, you can see Gervonta grab Dretta by the neck, and pull her out of the event.
Just after turning himself in, Gervonta was ordered to stay away from his baby mama until the outcome of his case was decided. Although the altercation was caught on video, the judge in the case could go either way.
What are your thoughts, Roomies? Should Gervonta’s charges stick? Let us know in the comments!
