Death can be hard to process, especially for a child, but thankfully 9-year-old Marley’s family had her back when she had to say goodbye to her beloved gerbil Matheo.
It was clear that her pet gerbil meant a lot to her, so her mother and grandmother decided to hold a memorial for Matheo and invited the whole family.
Judging by what we can see, the family did not hold back either. Marley’s grandmother made the gerbil’s obituary while her cousins sang and read scripture during the funeral.
