Gabrielle Union and BET’s relationship appeared to be on the rocks back in October when she filed a multimillion dollar lawsuit against the network for breaching their contract.
That lawsuit has been settled.
Gabrielle claimed in the original lawsuit that the contract stated that there would be a “substantial break” between seasons four and five–which were also agreed to have a maximum of 13 episodes per season. Instead, the seasons were aired back-to-back.
Gabby doesn’t play about her coin because she was demanding a whopping $3M. According to BET, an “amicable” agreement has been reached and season 4 will be here Jan. 10!
It’s been way too long and we’re ready to see what noise Mary Jane is about to make!
