People who flew thousands of miles and dropped a few stacks to attend the #VestiVilleFestival in Lommel, Belgium, are understandably upset after the grand music fest was canceled before it could even begin!
The festival not only bragged about a hefty lineup — which included big names such as #Migos, #Future, #MeekMill, #Saweetie and #DaVido –but it also promised luxury accommodations for its VIPs such as a private garden. Well, word got out Friday that things were not going according to plan, and then Vestiville officials announced that the mayor of Lommel said that the festival would not be happening.
Needless to say, as soon as people started to see the festival fall apart, they began to point out that this was a lot like the infamous #FyreFestival. To make matters worse, there were reports that those who were on the festival grounds were already trapped inside and weren’t allowed to leave.
As people tried to obtain information about the cancelation of the festival as well as get their money back, it appeared that the festival’s website crashed on Friday. Social media users took to Twitter to react to the disaster. SWIPE through to see the drama unfold.
