Former NFL baller Zac Stacy has reportedly been sentenced to six months in jail with probation stemming from two domestic incidents with the mother of his child, Kristin Evans.
If you recall, Zac was arrested in 2021 after viral video caught him slamming Kristin to the floor and attacking her while their 5-month-old son was present. He allegedly flew into a violent rage over rent money, per TMZ Sports.
According to FOX 35 Orlando, the 31-year-old entered a plea deal in the domestic violence case earlier this month in exchange for some charges being dropped. Reports state Kristin asked the court only to give Zac probation. However, the state asked for a year in jail.
In the end, the judge, who said the video evidence was “shocking,” split the difference, which lands Zac with six months in jail. In addition to two years probation, along with counseling and other programs. While in court, Zac apologized to Kristin for his actions.
Reports also state the two have started to share custody of their son.
As we previously reported, the former NFL player was seen brutally hitting his ex Kristin before fleeing the scene. After the beating, she called authorities and filed a restraining order.
In the original caption of her post, she said, “He is currently fleeing from Florida aggravated assault charges in Nashville, Tennessee.”
“PLEASE GET THIS MAN BEHIND BARS. THIS IS ME AND MY SON’S FATHER. He is a former NFL running back Zac Stacy, played for Vanderbilt. Please help me get justice,” Kirstin wrote in a social media post.
“He punched my legs, slapped me, picked me up by my arms, and threw me into my window, which broke. I had glass in my feet that I removed myself,” she added.

Kirstin even provided the outlet with photos of the injuries she says she sustained in the Nov. 2021 attack, showing large bruises and cuts on her body.
Stacy is also accused of another domestic assault on his ex, which occurred three months before the viral video incident.
He was hit with multiple charges over the two incidents but reached deals with prosecutors earlier this month, and agreed to plead guilty to one count of misdemeanor domestic violence battery and two counts of misdemeanor criminal mischief.
It was not immediately clear when the former NFL running back will begin his jail sentence.
According to Bleacher Report, Zac completed three NFL seasons after some time at Vanderbilt University. He played for the St. Louis Rams and New York Jets between 2013-2015. In 2019, he joined the Memphis Express team to play for the Alliance of American Football league.

UPDATE —- 2/28 10:37 PM ET — In a recent Instagram post, Kristin Evans, the ex-girlfriend and mother of Zac Stacy’s child, revealed that Stacy has transformed into a different person following two instances of assault against her in 2021. Evans attributed Stacy’s transformation to his therapy sessions, which have helped him to turn his life around.
On Tuesday, Evans commented on Stacy’s 6-month jail sentence, stating that she was not in favor of incarcerating him for his abusive behavior because she believed it would not provide him with the necessary resources to improve himself.
“Over the last six months, he’s consistently shown an improvement, as well as our son enjoying spending time with him … so please give me some grace in understanding that I’m not being easy on Zac, rather I am trying to protect our son from anymore trauma.”
