Looks like the ‘Beyhive’ may be targeting former NYC mayor Rudolph Giuliani after he slammed Beyonce’s Super Bowl halftime performance for sending the wrong message to cops!
“I think it was outrageous,” said Giuliani on Fox News. “The halftime show I thought was ridiculous anyway. I don’t know what the heck it was. A bunch of people bouncing around and all strange things. It was terrible.”
So if you did or didn’t see Beyonce’s performance it sent a very particular political message to show respect towards the Black Lives Matter movement, and by doing so she also paid homage to Malcolm X and the Black Panther movement. She and her dance crew dressed in all black and gold while wearing beret hats tilt to the side making sure everyone watching can capture their full-blow afro-centric hair.
Too bad Giuliani missed the message and wasn’t here for Beyonce’s pro-black performance at all!
“This is football, not Hollywood, and I thought it was really outrageous that she used it as a platform to attack police officers who are the people who protect her and protect us, and keep us alive. And what we should be doing in the African-American community, and all communities, is build up respect for police officers. And focus on the fact that when something does go wrong, okay. We’ll work on that. But the vast majority of police officers risk their lives to keep us safe.”
Guess he missed when Bey was even escorted by police officer’s to the venue before using her platform to bring awareness to the obvious elephant in the room! Anyways here’s what else he had to say
“Can’t you figure out who you’re putting on,” he said. “I mean this is a political position, she’s probably going to take advantage of it. You’re talking to middle America when you have the Super Bowl, so you can have entertainment. Let’s have, you know, decent wholesome entertainment, and not use it as a platform to attack the people who, you know, put their lives at risk to save us.”
Meanwhile the “Formation” singer is practically always giving back to her fans and local communities across the nation, and even with her “Formation World Tour” she just so happened to announce during the Super Bowl. Beyhive fans will make sure that Beyonce’s concert tickets will be sold out, and once they do all of the proceeds will go towards Flint, Michigan, as citizens are still battling gaining access to clean water.
Lets chat below, do you think Giuliani should take several seats or nah?
