Drake Tops Dr. Dre On Forbes’ Hip-Hop Cash Kings List

It’s that time of year again where Forbes releases their annual Hip-Hop Cash Kings list. We get to see who in hip-hop is earning the most cash, and everyone is hoping that his or her favorite rapper makes the top of the list.

Now there’s a little difference between last years list and this years list as some positions have switched, and some new people have been added to the list. The first person to top this years list is non other Diddy with $60 million.

He has multiple sources of income; whether it’s his Ciroc brand, to his cable company Revolt, even to his clothing line and of course his involvement within music.

Next on the list we have Jay-Z coming in with $56 million. The hip-hop mogul was able to maintain his spot from last years list with his multiple business ventures. Whether it is his Roc Nation entertainment company or even his Armand de Brignac champagne and now Tidal, Hov’s brand continues to grow bigger each year.

What was a big shocker to everyone, Drake came in at the third position with $39.5 million, moving up one spot from last years list and knocking Dr. Dre down to the fourth position. This year Drizzy is still be credited for making some of our favorite hits, but aside from that he also scored himself two major endorsement deals with both Nike and Sprite.
Unfortunately a few people have fallen off since last year, 50 Cent, DJ Kahled and Mac Miller are a few who didn’t make this years Top 20 List.
