Roomies, Floyd Mayweather has sparked reactions after sharing his thoughts on Diddy amid the recent sexual assault allegations and lawsuits.
As The Shade Room previously reported, in November 2023, Diddy was accused of sexual assault, abuse, and trafficking by his ex-girlfriend Cassie. Since then, numerous lawsuits have been filed against the music mogul, accusing him of similar acts.
Mayweather appeared as a guest for an episode of ‘The Pivot Podcast’ released on Tuesday, February 20, via YouTube. About seven minutes into his appearance on the show, the former pro boxer mentioned Diddy.
“Even like P. Diddy — I’m not gonna speak bad about P. Diddy ’cause he’s still a Black man… mistakes happen,” he explained. “And I can’t say if it is or it’s not a mistake. But things happen in life.”
Mayweather explained, “P. Diddy’s business is P. Diddy’s business.” Additionally, he claimed it’s not his job “or anyone else’s job to go on the internet and stomp him or kick him while he’s down.”
“My take on it is, it’s not my business,” he continued. “I don’t think it’s right at all, and I don’t condone it. Even if it happened to my daughter, I would be hurt. But that’s a choice that my daughter made.”
Mayweather concluded his statements by reiterating that he “doesn’t want to kick nobody while they’re down.”
At that point, one of the co-hosts, Ryan Clark, chimed in to disagree with Mayweather’s thoughts.

During the interview, Mayweather also opened up about his current relationship with NBA YoungBoy. The 46-year-old explained that he and the rapper speak regularly.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Mayweather is the grandfather of one of NBA YoungBoy’s children with Yaya Mayweather. Mayweather went viral in January after he shared a video of money stacks he allegedly sent to the rapper.
