Florida stays trying it! With numerous NFL teams like the Tennessee Titans, New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs, and Las Vegas Raiders players, contracting COVID-19, you would think more NFL teams would follow suit and take preventative measures to ensure the safety of their players and fans.
As the world kind of opens back up Florida Governor, #RonDeSantis is ready for the #MiamiDolphins to get back to their regularly scheduled program. Governor DeSantis has given the Miami Dolphins the stamp of approval to play inside the Hard Rock Stadium and let fans attend according to TMZ.
The stadium has a capacity of 65,000, but only 13,000 select fans will have the opportunity to attend the game on October 25th against the San Diego Chargers. As we previously reported Florida reported 11,433 new COVID-19 cases on July 10th, its biggest daily increase since on July 3rd, when 11,458 cases were recorded. Florida’s health department also reported 435 more hospitalizations, which was the state’s largest single-day increase since the pandemic began.
On Saturday, July 11th, Florida reported another 421 new hospitalizations as well as 10,360 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases in the state to 254,511. The statewide COVID-19 death toll has currently surpassed 4,200. This happened just days before one of the world’s most famous theme parks, Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom reopened on July 15th. The theme park took caution and had strict guidelines for visitors that removed their access to hop between parks. In addition, both visitors and employees had to have their temperatures checked before they were allowed inside. The park even banned fireworks shows and parades.
Numbers are steadily rising in Florida, as of today there are 2,582 new Florida COVID-19 cases reported. #Roommates, do y’all think this is a good idea?
