#Roommates, by now most of you have likely watched the incredibly popular Netflix series “Tiger King” as part of your current #QuarantineAndChill activities—well, there is a major update that has just been announced. According to new reports, Florida authorities are officially looking into the disappearance of Carole Baskin’s husband, who many feel was murdered by Carole herself.
“Tiger King” is officially a phenomenon thanks to its outrageous cast, unbelievable situations and cliffhangers. One of the most talked about aspects of the series is the mystery surrounding the disappearance of Carole Baskin’s husband, Jack “Don” Lewis—and now Florida authorities have decided to reopen the case. @Complex reports, Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister said his department is looking for any leads or information about Lewis’ disappearance.
Chronister posted a photo on Twitter with a photo of Lewis, his date of birth and the date of his disappearance, with the message “Since @netflix and #Covid19 #Quarantine has made #TigerKing all the rage, I figured it was a good time to ask for new leads.” Many of those in the series have accused Baskin of feeding Lewis to the tigers from her Big Cat Sanctuary in Florida, especially the star of “Tiger King,” Joe Exotic. Baskin has continued to deny the allegations for years and most recently slammed the portrayal of herself in the series.
That’s not all. Since “Tiger King” became such a hit, an online petition has also been created to get the FBI to reopen the investigation. The petition states, “It’s obvious that Carole did, in fact, murder her millionaire husband and feed his remains to tigers.”
Meanwhile, another petition has been created to persuade Donald Trump to pardon Joe Exotic, who is currently serving 22 years in prison.
Roommates, what are your thoughts on this?
