A little more than a week ago, Boosie wasn’t too happy when a fan at an airport mistook him for rap and reality TV icon Flavor Flav.
Boosie is pure entertainment, even when he’s not trying to be funny. He shared his reaction to the fan’s mistake and let’s just say he was less than thrilled about the comparison.
“I was just in the f*cking airport, lady gon’ talk about ‘Flavor Flav!’,” he said. “I don’t look like no damn Flavor Flav, I look like Boosie. That’s why I don’t wear these damn red glasses. Got me f*cked up early this morning. It’s too early in the morning for this sh*t.”
Well now it appears the feeling is mutual.
Flavor Flav shared that he was recently out in the streets of Las Vegas, particularly on the famous Las Vegas Boulevard “strip” when fans started running up on him and calling him Boosie.
“This s**t is getting out of f***ing hand right now, man you know what I’m saying?” Boosie said. “Motherf***ers coming up to me, calling me Lil Boosie on purpose.”
Flavor Flav wasn’t having it either with the whole mistaken identity.
“Ayo, I don’t look like no little motherf***in Boosie, aight? Boosie, look what the f**k you done started, son? You got everybody calling me you now!” Flavor Flav said.
He continued, “I don’t look like Lil Boosie, I look like Flavor Muthaf***in’ Flav.”
Although it didn’t look like Flavor Flav was playing about this one, I can’t help but feel fans will continue to purposely “confuse” these two for a little while longer to get a rise out of them.
But it seems it’s still in good fun. Who knows, maybe we might even get an epic link up because of it. We’ll keep you posted.
